“Barracuda” Heavy Bottom Rig

The “Barracuda” heavy bottom rig is strong. Main leader line and arms are crafted from 1.2 mm 7x7 stainless steel soft wire with a 232 lb. capacity. Two arms terminate in tough #6/0 octopus hooks. A 275 lb power swivel ties to your main line. A #1/0 interlock snap swivel is attached to a 3oz pyramid weight. This rig is ideal for moderate surf as and is perfect for pier fishing for bull redfish and other large targets. The steel wire will stand up to sharks and other toothy fishes with no problem.
